あなたの慈愛に満ちたまなざしが、今夜も苦しむ人々、打ちひしがれ、虐待されている人々を照らし続けますように。他者に接し、彼らの豊かさを発見し、彼らを大切にし、兄弟姉妹を助けるために、私たちにもこの繊細で愛に満ちた心をお与えください。

To be moved

Thank you, Lord, for this new day! We offer you our life in the service of your mission of compassion for the world. Give us the grace to let ourselves be moved like You, so that our hearts beat to the rhythm of Yours.
“When he saw the crowds, he felt pity for them, because they were distressed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. (Mt 9, 35-38) May your pain reach us, Lord, may we look with your eyes, listen with your ears, learn to love as you love.
Are we touched by the pain of our brothers and sisters, are we touched by them to relieve their needs? May this month above all be a comfort to the women around us who are going through difficult times.

With Jesus in the night

Let yourself be looked at

Seek inner calm and peace, and distance yourself from the day’s activities. The Father is looking at you: place yourself in his presence, as he draws his compassionate gaze upon you, just as he looked upon the distraught crowds, moved by your fragile life.
Let your body relax, let go of your wandering thoughts and let your heart rest. Ask the Lord to accompany you with his gaze as you reflect on your day, seeing it with his eyes and feeling it with the beating of his Heart.
What do you want to give thanks for? Ask him to give you the words for what you’ve experienced. Be silent… and when something comes to your heart write it down and give thanks for it as you are grateful for what will come tomorrow!
