日中イエスと共に
聖人たちは、イエスを別にすれば、他の誰も比肩しえないほどの深い愛を持っていました。聖人たちは、福音を実行に移す彼らの才能によって、イエスに倣う方法をわたしたちに教えてくれます。イエスのように愛するということは、イエスのように考え、イエスの聖心で感じ、イエスと同じ柔和さと勇気をもって語り、イエスの教えに従って行動し、分け隔てなく他の人々を助ける、ということです。それは、親切と寛大さ、祈りと奉仕の道です。これらの態度を養うことを通して、わたしたちの心は喜びで満たされ、イエスの愛で溢れることを学ぶのです。

少し時間を取って、イエスと共にとどまりましょう。深呼吸をして、自分自身の内面を見つめてみましょう。心の中に喜びと平和を保っていましたか。周りの人々にいつくしみの心で接しましたか。何か神に謝るべきことがあるでしょうか。今この時を心安らかに過ごし、神の愛で包んでいただけるよう神に願いましょう。今日を終えるにあたって、明日のための決意をひとつ書き留めてみましょう。アヴェ・マリア…

I begin this day by giving thanks for the love of God for me and for everyone. I ask the Lord to teach me to see things differently today, going beyond my fixed ideas and abandoning whatever takes away my freedom. With Jesus during the day
The saints had a profound love unlike anyone else, besides Jesus. They can teach us how to imitate Jesus in their ability to put the Gospel into practice. To love like Jesus is to think his thoughts, feel with his Heart, speak with the same meekness and courage, act according to his doctrine, and help others without distinction. It is a path of kindness and generosity, of prayer and service. In cultivating these attitudes, our heart is filled with joy and learns to overflow with his love.

With Jesus in the night
Take some time to be alone with Jesus. Take a deep breath and look within yourself. Have you maintained the joy and peace in your heart? Have you acted charitably with your neighbor? Do you need to apologize to God for something? Stay at peace in this moment and ask God to embrace you with his love. Write down a resolution for tomorrow as you end this day. Hail Mary…
