Lord Jesus Christ, You are the light that guides our way, the lamp that illuminates our steps through the darkness of this world. Today, in deep sorrow, we bow our heads to bid farewell to our beloved Shepherd, One who devoted his entire life to leading Your flock in this world. He lived with a simple heart amidst a noisy world, yet his love, humility, and unwavering faithfulness were enough to warm the entire Church, in the radiant light of Easter—where the hope of resurrection burns brightly. The lamp of his earthly life has gently been extinguished… Yet this is not the end, but the beginning of a new journey: A journey back to the Father’s house. He faithfully followed the call of the One he loved all his life. And today, we believe he has been received into the loving arms of God in hope of eternal life, we entrust his soul to the boundless mercy of the Lord. May You, O Lord—the Resurrection and the Life, welcome him into everlasting joy, where pain no longer exists, and Your light shines forevermore. Amen.
