With Jesus in the morning
Dear Lord, here I am again at your feet to hear your word. You invite me to pray in communion with my brothers and sisters. “Lord, teach us to pray just as John taught his disciples” (Lk 11:1-4). Communion with you is not expressed in an intimate relationship but rather an open one since “the Church is not a church for herself but for the world, we are not a body -network for ourselves but to serve and love our brothers, especially the most vulnerable”. (Step 9). Lord, make our mission as the Pope’s worldwide prayer network leaven in the building of a synodal Church. Our Father.

With Jesus during the day
In a moment of silence, I reflect on my particular mission in the Church. The synodal itinerary “is a gift and a task: walking together, and together reflecting on the path traveled, the Church will be able to learn from what she will experience. What are the processes that can help her to live in communion, to carry out the participation and to be open to the mission.” (Synod 2021-2023 Preparatory Document). Feeling the call and the responsibility to live the synodal process, I return with joy to my daily work.

With Jesus in the night
With the sun lowering in the sky, the day is coming to a close. Calm your mind and find a place of inner peace. Is there any special grace that you have received today? Thank the Lord if there was. Our brothers and sisters, the natual world around us, and you yourself, are an expression of the Love of God. Are you aware of this simple fact during the busyness of your day? Do you stop to savor this truth? Do you try to express with gestures of kindness, joy, service and good humor the Love that inhabits you? Write down what you discover and make a resolution for tomorrow that encourages you to give what you receive from the Lord. Hail Mary.
