With Jesus in the morning
Start your day putting yourself in God’s hands, thanking him, giving yourself, listening to him. “There was a rich man who…had lavish banquets. At his door, covered with sores, lay a poor man named Lazarus, who longed to be satisfied with what fell from the rich man’s table. Luke 16:19-31. What Lazarus begs today at the gates of your heart? Look in your family, at work, among those you frequent, surely there is someone who needs your time, your smile, a word of encouragement, help. With Jesus during the day
Give yourself a space to rest with Jesus. Take a deep breath and register with your body your feelings and your heart. Pope Francis teaches us concretely to promote the life of our brothers: “Just as the commandment “not to kill” sets a clear limit to ensure the value of human life; today we have to say “no to an economy of exclusion and inequity .” What does Francis’ words say to you? Is there someone who is excluded from your affection? Is there room for sharing in your consumption of the resources at your disposal? With concrete love, fight for life and do your best to humanize those around you.

With Jesus in the night
Gently enter the stillness of the declining day. Be grateful for every gift that the Lord has given you: the people, your talents, your material goods. What were your priorities today? What did you try to earn today in your successes, in your time, in your happiness, and in your money. Was it to share or was it for you alone? Ask for forgiveness if you only sought for yourself and make a resolution so that tomorrow you can humanize this world a little more with your love and service towards the poor. Hail Mary…
