With Jesus in the morning
I begin this day by thanking you for the love you have for me and for calling me to work in your harvest. “John was a burning and shining lamp” (Jn 5, 35) Just like John, I want to be a lamp illuminating people’s lives with the Gospel of Christ. May my actions of this day be consistent with my words and so that people can believe that I am in communion with the Lord. With Jesus during the day
Do not let them rob you of hope. Let us go against the current, go forth, look for solutions together, believe in dialogue, be close to each other. To have hope is to be creative, courageous, daring and smart” (Pope Francis). Hope represents a look to the future and what can be made of it. People who cultivate this virtue use their efforts to make it a reality. They create and share exciting visions, show more flexibility and confidence in decision making and problem solving. They are more inclined to create and seize opportunities. How can I best develop this virtue in my life?

With Jesus in the night
I’m ready to close the day. I collect what I have lived and I am grateful for any special grace I have received. What opportunity has God offered me at work, in family, in friends, in the community? How did I respond? Carrying out the routines of each day with love and total surrender is a heroic virtue. Was I faithful in today’s little things? I surrender my day and make a resolution to grow in faithfulness. Hail Mary…
