Today is the 4th Sunday of Lent and the Word challenges us: “Bring the fattened calf, kill it, let us eat and feast, for my son here was dead and has come back to life, he was lost and he is found.” (Lk 15:11-32). Your love and your forgiveness are limitless, Lord: the only thing that interests you is to know us in life! Thank you! How not to think of the intention of this month with which Pope Francis invites Christians to promote the defense of life? With Jesus during the day
Many are carried away by the concept of greatness that the world presents: great is the one who has the most money, who has success, status, power. Our great God and Creator of everything came in the simplicity of a manger, he lived with the poor, he awakened the greatness of the suffering hearts and also of the rich who humbly went looking for him. Looking to Jesus, let us be able to seek that greatness expressed by goodness and love. Let us be great in the eyes of the Lord by seeking to live the Gospel.

With Jesus in the night
The evening is here. What have I done with this day that is coming to an end? What feelings are inside me tonight, and what motivates them? I think back to today’s Gospel (Lk 15:11-32) where the Father rejoices at the return of his son without even reproaching him. The Father is waiting for me, too: what attitude will I have with him? Throw myself into his arms with confidence, be wary of what he is going to tell me, rejoice with him? Very good Father, adjust my heart to yours and give me your Spirit.
