With Jesus in the morning
Today is the Annunciation. The Angel announces to the Virgin Mary that she will be a mother: “Behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall name him Jesus” (Lk 1:31). She will give life to the Son of God. Since this morning, I delight in this gift of life, and I entrust to God all expecting mothers. Life is a gift of God which, unfortunately, is often disregarded. I pray for that each baptized person may commit themselves to the promotion and safeguarding of life. With Mary, I will commit myself to say yes to life and through all my actions. Hail Mary…

With Jesus during the day
At this time of day, I pause to say thank you. Thank you for the source of life that you are for humanity, Lord. Grant forgiveness for the widespread disrespect of this life that You give us freely. Scientific research calls into question the value of life, and we as humans flout the sanctity of this life. Lord, with the whole Church, I want to be one who values life. Like Mary, help me and help all Christians to be watchmen for the preservation of life.

With Jesus in the night
Lord, you kept me alive until sunset and you guided my steps. In union with the Pope’s Worldwide Prayer Network, I prayed for the promotion and defense of life in the face of new bioethical challenges. Mary accepted this life and shared it with us. Have I been a promoter of life? Have I helped someone to keep hope and give thanks for life? I apologize, Lord, for my cowardice and for my lack of courage. For the life saved in me and in humanity, thank you. Give me the grace to work more for the awareness of my brothers and sisters. Our Father…
