主の変容の日であるこの日に、わたしを目覚めさせ、愛の宣教者となるよう導く光を与えてくださる神に感謝します。他者を求める恵みを与えてくださるよう、主に願い求めます。その探求がわたしを変容させ、わたしが冷たく静的なまま、自己依存のままではいられないようにしてくれますように。わたしは今月の教皇フランシスコの意向に従い、海に関わるすべての人々とその家族のために、この日とわたしの行動を捧げます。栄光は父と子と聖霊に…

「イエスのますます鮮明になる啓示は、それ自体が終わりではなく、神の霊の力によって回復したわたしたちに『山から降りる』よう誘導し、改心の新たなステップを決めるため、日常生活の法則としての慈愛を絶えず示していくことです。」（教皇フランシスコ）自分自身を変容させるということは、主によって自分自身が変容され、神から与えらえた恵みを他者のために捧げることです。これは、愛、勇気、知恵をもって自分の恵みを世に役立てることを意味します。聖霊がわたしを新たにし、歩みの中でわたしの心を日々改め、そして強くしてくださることを委ねなければなりません。

With Jesus in the morning
On this day of the Transfiguration of the Lord, I thank God for the gift of light that awakens me and encourages me to be a missionary of love. I ask the Lord to give me the grace to seek out others during this day. May that search transfigure me, that it will not let me remain cold and static, in self-reliance. With Jesus during the day
“Jesus’ increasingly vivid revelation is not an end in itself, but induces us to ‘descend from the mountain,’ restored by the power of the divine Spirit, to decide new steps of conversion and to constantly witness to charity, as the law of daily life” (Pope Francis). To transform myself is to let myself be transformed by the Lord, to open myself to use my gifts for the benefit of others. This means putting my skills at the service of humanity with love, courage and wisdom. I need to allow the Holy Spirit to renew me and strengthen me on the journey, converting my heart on a daily basis.
