今始まる新しい一日、聖霊によって、また御子イエスのみ言葉のうちに、神がご自身を示してくださる賜物を、父である神に感謝します。わたしが招かれている最良の姿から離れてしまうたびに、いつも父なる神はわたしをいつくしみをもって迎え入れてくださいます。神よ、わたしに感謝の心で話すすべを教えて下さい。何事も当たり前だと思うのではなく、汲み尽くしがたく驚くべき贈り物として受け入れることができますように。そうすることで、わたしは他の人々を希望をもって迎え入れることができます。「教皇による祈りの世界ネットワーク」とともに、教皇の意向のために、この一日をお捧げします。天におられる…

わたしの行いはすでにわたしの心の一番深いところにあるものを代弁し表現しています。わたしは周りの人々に対して親切に寛大に接しようと望んでいます。今日、一言もそれについて語ることなく、また誰にも知られることなく、親切な行いを少なくとも一つ実践してみます。この行為を大きな喜びとイエスにいっそう似た者となる望みをもってイエスにお捧げします。

With Jesus in the morning
I give thanks to God, my Father, for the new day that begins, a gift in which he makes himself present by the Spirit and in the word of his Son Jesus. The Father always welcomes me with mercy, each time I move away from the best I can be. I ask God to teach me the language of gratitude, not taking anything for granted but as an inexhaustible and surprising gift that leads me to welcome others with hope. With Jesus during the day
My actions already speak for themselves and express what is deepest in my heart. I want to try to live kindness and generosity towards my neighbor. Today I will try to perform at least one act of kindness, without saying a word about it, or without anyone knowing about it. I offer this gesture to Jesus with immense joy and the desire to become more and more like him.

Become aware of how you feel now. Give thanks to God for the little details that filled you with joy and hope. Look at the general activities of the day. Have you chosen life in all your actions?
