日中イエスと共に
イエスは、この世の栄誉や虚栄、そして、人気者でありたい、いつも立派でありたいという欲望を乗り越えることをわたしに教えてくださいます。わたしは、自分がよりイエスに近いものとなるための真の宝として、苦しみ、苦悩、恥の果実を刈り入れることをイエスから学びます。イエスに倣おうとする真の自分であることこそが、わたしを真にイエスの弟子にするのです。

一週間を振り返り、神様がどれほど自分と共にいてくださったのかを考えてみましょう。健康や働く力はもちろん、神様があなたにくださったものに感謝を捧げましょう。内なる自由をもって行動しましたか。あなたの内面の自由を奪った性格の弱さや、人、状況について考えましょう。あなたが自由において成長するために必要な恵みを神様からいただく用意はできていますか。心の喜びと自由のうちに生きる決意をしましょう。アヴェ・マリア…

With Jesus in the morning
I trust in the faithful love of Jesus who invites: “Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28). I open my heart to Jesus and share with him my pains, trials, uncertainties and fears. I let him take the burdens I carry in my heart and rest in him. I ask for the gifts of wisdom and strength to face adversity in peace and in service. I invoke the intercession of Mary Most Holy, for my family and for all families. I offer my day for the intention that the Holy Father entrusts to his World Prayer Network this month. Hail Mary…

With Jesus during the day
Jesus teaches me to overcome the glories and vanities of the world, the desire to be popular and to always be right. I learn from him to reap the fruits of suffering, discomfort and humiliation, as true treasures that make me more like him. Being an authentic person, who seeks to mirror him is what makes me his true disciple.

With Jesus in the night
Review your week and see how God was with you. Give thanks to God for what you received, as well as your health, and ability to work. Did you act with an inner freedom? Think about something, a weaknesses of character, person or situation that has taken away your inner freedom. Are you open to receiving the grace from God you need to grow in freedom? Make a resolution to live with joy and freedom of heart. Hail Mary…
