This Sunday morning, I give you thanks, Lord, for the life you have given me. “Whoever tries to preserve his own life, will lose it. And whoever loses his life because of me, will find it ”(Matthew 10:39). There are so many times that I make plans for my life, thinking that everything will be my way and forgetting that I depend entirely on you. That is why I ask for the grace to trust you, Lord. I offer you this day for the Holy Father’s intention of prayer, entrusted this month to his Worldwide Prayer Network that all those who suffer may find their way in life, allowing themselves to be touched by the Heart of Jesus. May I become aware of the Lord’s presence in my whole being. May your love abide within me and may I listen to you in the silence of my heart. What is good about me, Lord, is your grace! Whatever you find that you don’t like, help me change it.

Find a quiet place and breathe deeply, letting your heart quiet down. What events made you happy today? Did you feel loved, esteemed or valued by someone?
