In this feast of Mary, rejoice with her! Thank the Lord that you have her as a Mother to help you with all your needs. The angel’s advice to Joseph follows: “Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary your wife into your home” (Mt 1:18-23). Stay praying this Word yourself. Mary is a teacher in the art of letting the Lord take the lead even in the smallest details. Encourage yourself to learn from her today. Quiet your heart and come to an appreciation for all that you have lived since the sunrise. Next, bring the day to your mind. Did you live it alone or did you go to your Mother? She is the one who can teach you that nothing is impossible for God. Keep this in mind for tomorrow and write down a change you can make. Ask the Holy Virgin to help you follow her Son and love all around you like Him. And please pray for the abolition of the death penalty and respect for the sacred dignity of the human being.
