With Jesus in the morning
Welcome this day with gratefulness. The Lord wakes you up with his Word: “Blessed are you who are now weeping, for you will laugh.” (Lk 6:20-26). What feelings emerge in you? Jesus plants the moments of joyfulness where we least imagine it. Cast away false idols that you may be holding onto today, and cling to Jesus wherever He takes you to. Don’t believe the ‘Pop’ culture that promises what it doesn’t have. Offer your struggles today so that others may know how to discern the key to true bliss. With Jesus during the day
Stop and rest at the edge of the road you find youself taking. Do you understand the joy that Jesus promises and the price He paid? Does it scare you or give you wings to fly towards Him? Pope Francis puts St. Joseph as an example: “Joseph’s happiness is not in the logic of self-sacrifice, but in the gift of himself to others. Frustration is never seen in him, but only confidence. His persistent silence does not contemplate complaints, but concrete gestures of trust.” Trust the Lord and give yourself. You will know the true joy that you can spread around. Move forward!

With Jesus in the night
The day is ending. What do you think of its experiences? Thank the Lord for everything, the moments you liked and also the moments of struggle. What thoughts appeared in each moment? What attitudes did you have? What feelings were present in you? In times of difficulty remember that God is present, and He promises joyfulness and peace to those who struggle for his cause. “True joy does not come from things, from having, no! It is born of the meeting”- Pope Francis. Cheer up and don’t let yourself be carried away by dark thoughts and don’t abandon your good purpose. Ask for new strength for tomorrow. Hail Mary…
